It's official! I'm signed up for the Bimbler's Bluff 50k in October. I will be doing this race by myself. Part of my goal is to adhere to a nutrient rich whole foods diet as I train. I will be following advice from several different sports nutrition food books and I invite you to follow along with me as I learn what is the healthiest approach to running this race. My goal is to run the 50k/32 mi trail run in under 7 hours. That should put me in the top half of finishers. Considering I've never even run a marathon before, that should be pretty good.

Does Red Bull give you wings?
Watch this video. How does it make you feel? Are you inspired to go out and do something great? Whether it's physical, mental or emotional, this video makes me feel like I can do anything, be anything, achieve anything...and the best part is that it's true. I can do anything, be anything, achieve anything. However, I've never drank a Red Bull before doing any of those things. I wonder how many people in this video have?
